Sometimes you bite more than you can chew.

Sometimes it’s a costly mistake, but at least it tells you what your limits are. This year, armed with a drive unheard of for me, I launched into a multifaceted goal. It would have been attainable if circumstances stayed the same as they were when the goal was set but…. Life be lifing.

My triple impact theme was a good guide. It motivated me to be prolific. Despite the disappointments along the way, I’m finishing this year as strong as last year. Well, maybe even stronger, if I do say so myself 🤭

I released the new edition of Turbo charge Your life and my first collection of short stories in the last quarter of 2024.

But this quarter of 2025, I’ve released volume 2 , volume 3 and a Music album.

Take your pick, support your bro! Thank you please 😆

Now. Autumn is here, and as you may know, it’s our favourite time at Rethink Creative. We’re reflecting, we’re rethinking.

Part of our reflection is about the theme we’ll have for next year.

If there’s something I’ve learnt this year it’s this:

Things can get tough. And if my foundation isn’t solid, i.e if the reason behind why I do things isn’t rooted in intrinsic values, but on less meaningful, extrinsic factors instead, my resilience vanishes super quick.

I need to be doing things because I’m motivated to do them, not to chase metrics.

I know what the latter does to me: send me in a spiral of frustration,  self doubt then discouragement. Or worse: when stats are nice, they’re just giving an illusion of progress but nothing tangible.

My art is primarily my therapy, but there is a huge other component: that is you. My reader, my supporter. So thank you. I would have packed everything up long ago if it wasn’t for you.

Now, the theme I have in mind for next year will not only touch my art but I want it to colour everything else in my life. It’ll help be more resilient.

To be resilient, one has to be rooted. Spiritually, emotionally.

So my theme for 2026 is this:

Rooted.

If all decisions to go through that filter, we won’t be doing things just for the sake of doing them . We will hopefully feel less like headless chickens, right? More purposeful,  more intentional, empowered

What about you? Are you thinking of a theme? Let me know!

Oh, and don’t forget to leave a review, whatever you choose to get from me.
